First Newsletter and Fall Shop!

Dear Friends and Family,

I hope you are all doing well! I want to express my gratitude for subscribing to my newsletter! Your support and encouragement mean the world to me, and I'm truly honored to have you join me on this artistic journey.

This summer has been a whirlwind of inspiration and creativity! As some of you may know, I took the plunge in June and rekindled my presence on social media after a seven-year hiatus. For a self-proclaimed introvert like me, it was a decision that took some courage, but I felt it was time to connect with a wider audience and share my art with the world.

The past few months have been an incredible adventure. I've had the pleasure of reconnecting with old friends, making new acquaintances, and immersing myself in the vibrant art community online. The support and positivity I've received from all of you have been nothing short of inspiring, and I'm humbled by the wonderful connections I've made since embarking on this journey. It turns out that the world of social media isn't as daunting as I once believed, and I'm now left wondering why I didn't take this leap sooner!

But that's not all—I've also decided to dive headfirst into the local art scene! I recently became a member of the Southern California Artist Alliance, and I can't express how exhilarating it's been to participate in events at the Oceanside Museum of Art. I've also joined the group, San Diego Plein Air Painters, who meet up for a paint-out at different locations every Tuesday morning, led by a prominent, award-winning local painter. From the regular Tuesday paint-outs to first Sundays coffee talk and the quarterly critique sessions at he museum, I've had the opportunity to meet some truly wonderful and talented people who share my passion for art.

And that's not where the adventure ends. I've also become a member at the Oceanside Pottery Club, which celebrated its one-year anniversary not too long ago. The atmosphere at the club is electric with creativity, and I've had the privilege of getting to know a host of incredible fellow ceramic artists. My mind is abuzz with the endless possibilities that these connections have opened up for my artistic journey!

Needless to say I've been really busy, but somehow I still get dinner on the table and remember to pick up my son from school! Now, let's get back to some exciting news. Like many artists I've come across on social media and in my local art community, I'm thrilled to announce the opening of my first Fall Shop. As I glance around my studio, I can't help but smile at the array of skulls and teapots that have taken over my workspace. While each piece holds a special place in my heart, I've decided that it's time to let them find new homes where they can be cherished as much as I've cherished creating them.

As my dedicated subscribers, I invite you to be among the first to explore my Fall Shop, stocked with my small series of Teapots and Cow Skulls, which will officially open to all this Saturday, Sept 23rd at 9am PST. As a token of my appreciation for your early support, I'll be sharing an exclusive link with you for early access TOMORROW, SEPT 22 at 9am PST. This will give you a head start on discovering and acquiring some of my unique creations before the official launch.

I can't wait to share this next chapter of my artistic journey with all of you. Your encouragement has been so appreciated, and I'm excited to have you by my side as I continue to explore and create.

Keep your eyes peeled for my email tomorrow morning with the shop link, I'll send it out around 9am! In the meantime, feel free to reach out if you have any questions or just want to chat about art, life, or anything else. Your feedback and conversations mean the world to me.

Once again, thank you for being a part of my art journey!

Warmest regards,

Jessica
